Interesting week. Different. Cambios. Every six weeks those that are getting transferred come to the chapel in Benque where we go to church. There is usually a lot of missionaries that come. ON Tuesday we went to dinner at the mission home with the new bees, About five green goes and five or so central americans. Diner was great, pork chops on a choice of a Zl birthday and he is leaving this change, he has six weeks left and President sent him away to serve 6 weeks in no man’s land. There was an Elder Roper from Vernal Utah that came. I talked with him but he has no idea of any relations. I know of one that is distend from us. I think as far back as Charles Roper that was the son of Suzanna Smith from England or her grandson. I was exciting to call him Elder Roper and when the President read off his name at the Cambios I wanted to stand up. It is hard to believe that we have been here over 6 months. Still struggling with the language. We can understand an awful lot but it’s the talking back part that is hard. The next day was diner at the mission home with all the elders going home. There was a sister that has been here 8 months but claims she has problems with her knee and wants to get it looked at in the states. Don ‘t think she will come back. They had sent another sister home early because of whatever reason. I feel bad for those that leave there mission early and really don’t want to stick it out. Yes it is hard out here but the blessings will not come unless you put forth the effort to do the Savoir will. I pray for strength for us to make it through our mission. Well we had lasagna for dinner that night. A family from Guatemala came to visits there son who was finishing his mission. They had like four younger brothers and sisters. I thought of the time we went and saw Josh on his mission and how wonderful it was to be in the same place my son served. The mission deal tires me out a lot and sometimes I feel like where am I getting all this energy to move forward. It comes because of you guys. Your support is over whelming for me and mom. We thank you for your prayers and your encouragement. It does make a different in how we serve. WE really feel we cannot do it without your support. I want to say that \I have changed but I not going to bore you with all that stuff. I love my Savior more now than \I have in a long time. I pray my words may touch you heart to want to become closer to your Savior too. I love each one of you and will continue to love and try to be the best father I can be. Also the best grandfather to you kids. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is real and we all need to take advantage of it while we are all alive. I wish I had an inspirational story to tell you but I don’t All I have is to continue my last email. We had dinner Ferlin and he cooked the meal that we looked at in the magazine Hawaiian chicken. It was the best meal I have had here in San Pedro Sula. I told him about BLT’s and we are going to cook for him next. Take care love alwsy Dad
