5/12/12 I want to wish every mother a happy mother’s day. My mother is my friend and I miss her very much. I haven’t seen her in over a year plus. Those that have a mother be grateful and those that have lost their mother I am sorry but you will see your mother again. I know it with all my heart. Because I believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ and know that live goes on after we die. The Lord has told us that motherhood is the greatest calling any woman can have. The love of a mother is very close to the love the lord has for us. I have felt the love of my mother and the love of the lord. It is just a good feeling to know that your mother loves you. Is all can I can say. Thank you for being good mothers and trying to raise your children in such a harsh world. My love for my mother is great and my love for the lord is great too. For me to give up being with my mother to come on a mission has been hard for me but I want to say that I am willing to do it because the Lord has ask me to do it. I love you and wish you the best mother’s day ever. This is a letter I wrote to say at mother’s day but they never ask me to say anything. When you are prepared it is easier to come up with things. We had a mother’s day party and the elders were supposed to cook the food but it change and we came to the church to cook the food they said don’t worry about it. We got take out. Chinese. Planning here does not happen and when they do they seem to change and don’t tell anyone. But this activity turned out really well. They had all the mothers sit in front of everyone and they just feed them and entertained them. Gave frozen chicken and cleaning basket to certain winners of some type of contest. Youth sang, primary sang, karate demonstration, and reader came to read a story. I was in the kitchen slash relief society room cleaning. Everyone seemed to be happy except the person that comes 2 hours late and says where the food. Sorry we have none left. All in all it was a good activity. Today we went to peach tree resort and just hung out at the water and ate coconut scrimp. Lifer stills moves forward and we looking forward to do some thing new. Lv you guys…. Dad
