6/2/2012 The hardest week we have had was last week. A week ago Friday we had the young mens camp out. We had about 9 boys and three adults come. For boys that live in houses that don’t have as much as us did real well in the outdoors. It seems it was the first fire that they had ever made or cooked on. I ask them to bring foil diners. One brought a foul diner, another brought two potatoes and a sheet of foil and one brought fast food. Chicken. … I guess there moms never helped them get there food together. The other adult Darwin brought tortillas and beans I think. He shared and I shard my chicken and rice. Then the last boy came late because he was out of school at 7pm. He dad brought wienies and tortillas. So we had a feast for diner. We had a fireside about the three nephites and where there are and what they are doing. After we all bore our testimonies and I got to hear the young men’s views on the church. It was very spiritual and we all felt good inside. It reminded of the times I went with you josh, jake, jed and tima to the young men’s activities. The spirit was so strong with you. The young men slept about 2 hours and so I slept about two hours. At 9am they sent snorkeling at the underwater museum. It is a place that a member owns and has put ancient ruins in the water from Copan. It had a lot of Coral and fish. It is in the ocean. They young men said it was the high light of the activity. Elders called me to go on teaching appointments and so I went but when I got home I went right to sleep. That Monday we started the Dental Clinic. It was put on by a member of the church and she contacted 9 dentist that came spent their own money to work for a week for any one that had problems with their teeth. We had on Monday all the members and special people that were invited by members or us. Tuesday to Thursday were any one could come and then on Friday we had 50 orphans that came from the mainland that was very special. Their parents had abandoned them and someone organized a place to help them survive in the cruel country. I went up to the basketball court or soccer court and the children had written with chalk. Thank you to the dentist of taking care of our teeth. It brought tears to my eyes to be able to see the gratitude that the kids had for us. Every one of the doctors said that they were grateful to be here and to help these children. That got more out being here for them then they gave to them. As they got on the bus I can still see there smiles and there love. I just had a glimpse of what the savoir taught about the innocence of little children. I want to hug them and tell them I love them and I am grateful for them. I literally was so tired from helping that each day I had to come home and just rest. I don’t know if it was my age or just being on my feet for so long but it took its toll on me. Now it is Saturday we have a chance to rest and recuperate our bodies to finish this mission strong. I want to tell each one of you that I love you with all my heart and would do anything for you to help you understand the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is true and if we live its principle we will succeed in our lives and in the lives of your families. I love my Savoir and I am grateful for his love for me and my family. Take care always Dad./
