2012-06-25 - Ultimate Goal
6/25/2012 Sundays is always our hardest day except maybe doing the dental clinic. That was our hardest week. How are you guys doing? I don’t get a chance to hear from you very often. Mostly on Skype or if we call. If you get a chance let us know how you are doing on an email that is would be great. Hope is a great attribute to have when all is lost or you think that life get hard. You can sit back and say to yourself well things can’t get any worse. I am just going to hope for the best that the things will turn out for the best. They always say bad things happen to good people. Well bad things happen to bad people too and it doesn’t matter what happens as long as you have hope things will turn out for the best. We pray every night that things will turn out for the best in your lives. After all the turmoil and no body shows up to do there calling here in the branch. Moms said. I would not want to be anywhere else except at church. There’s a lot be said in that statement. Hiding in the world when you know you should be at church eventually you forget those things that got you this far in life. It is the good things that we do that mold us to who we shall become. Once you have been taught then teach others to do the same and by your example those will follow. The Savior taught by example and we all know what we must do to follow. But somehow something gets in our way as we move forward in life to be able to accomplish what? What is our ultimate goal in life? What do we want to do before we die? I have always asked myself this question and my ultimate goal is to be with my family for the eternities. Does my family want the same goal? Just some thoughts I have been having since we have been here. I see little miracles here that remind me that the gospel is true. It seems my first mission was a wakeup call to get off my duff and make something of my life. This mission has been a trial the first day we arrived and still is. I know that the work we do is from the Savior. To forget one self and go to work is the words of a prophet of God when he was discouraged on his mission. It is good advice prettie much in all that we do. If we are so worry about how things will turn out it affects our effort. I want to tell each one of you that I love you and I am proud of each one of you. Lv alwys Dad
