9/2/2011 I am glad Charity is doing better. Being far away from you guys takes its toll. I truly love each one of you and I am happy that each one of you are healthy and safe. Being in a safe environment is so important for you children. I am glad that i| had the opportunity to raise each one of you in the United States. Sometimes you take for granted the nice things that you are just unaware of. Just brushing your teeth and rising your mouth out with the water from the sink. We have not done that since we have been here. It’s not a big thing anymore but changing your habits to conform to what you are around was for me. I am a same old thing all the time man. Got to get over myself and change a little. We do the same thing time in and time out. What changes is the people we work with. Got to tell you about Loca Jackie. I think I mention her before in one of my emails. Mom told her to get off the computer because she was on it all day and there were people waiting to use it. She just sat there and didn’t get off. Mom told her off and she said she was sorry butt. Well a couple weeks before this she did the same thing to Hermana Zuniga, a return missionary that worked in the office before us. WE didn’t know it but Hermana Zuniga stop coming to work in the center as a volunteer because she didn’t want to be around local Jackie. She is the one I told you about that dyed her hair and eyebrows red. We called Hermana Zuniga to come in and local Jackie came too. Loca Jackie need to finish the work shop in the morning and so she left to go to the work shop. Hermana Zuniga told us she would not stay if local Jackie was here and she is going to leave when local Jackie comes back at noon. I tried to explain to Hermana Zuniga about forgiveness but some time that sister doesn’t want to lessen. Well loca Jackie came back a t noon, Hermana Zuniga grab her stuff and left but went in to the rest room. I was making a sandwich for me and loca Jackie and the next thing mom comes in to the center with loca jackie and says. Tell local jackie to go home. We don’t want her here anymore. Apparently she went into bathroom while Hermana Zuniga was on the pot and just started an argument. She knew Herman Zuniga didn’t like her and she says she just went into the bathroom to wash her hands and this big argument started between her and Hermana Zuniga. The way loca Jackie always dealt with things is argue to death about the subject until you get tired and submit to her will. Loca Jackie is the one that told me three times she was member and was baptized but not in our church but fail to mention that when I asked. Well loca Jackie is arguing with us now in the center in a load voice, there are people asking what is wrong and are leaving because they are scared. So I waited until Hermana Zuniga is long gone and I toke her outside and to tell her to go home and come back tomorrow when you are not so emotional. I sat there for 20 more minutes lessening to a story told several times with a little twist each time she told the story. She said she could not leave because she had a meeting with the missionaries at 2pm. I said okay go in to the church and wait on the other side but do not go back in to the center. She agreed. She came in and sat on our side and told the area seventy that came to visit us all about her problem with Hermana Zuniga. Then after that she came walking into the center and ask \Hermana Roper if she was going to participate in her discussion when the missionary came. She said she would but didn’t have to because they had three missionaries.. After the discussion the missionaries came in and she also came in and started to sit down to do something to the computer. I said no, leave now. She left. Apparently her email was still on and she wanted to turn it off. Today was quite in the center but the elders called and want us to take them to loca Jackie house to do a baptismal interview. We drove them there and we all go out of the car to go into loca Jackie house. But loac Jackie said she didn’t want to do the discussion today. We sat back in the car to wait and loca Jackie mother came out and just started yelling at missionaries. I did not hear what she was saying but the whole block could her talk. We sat there for about a hour while her mother was yelling at the missionaries. Then they went inside. Then the elder came out and said we are going to start the interview now and if you want to leave you can. I said call me when you are done and we will pick you up. We stopped at Power chicken at our house and had shrimp. Elder called we pick them up and they told us loca Jackie will be baptized tomorrow and ask if we can go. We have other plans to hike the coke cola sign half way up the mountain so we will not be there. We don’t need this stress and sometimes I am lost on how we are supposed to run this center.
