Raw Unabridged · Chapter 7: Honduras And Second-Service Years

2011-03-11 - Letter 11 9 2011

3/11/2011 I am sick today for some reason. I ate and it seems to have catch up with me. I love you kids so very much and want you to know that I think about you. Even you Josh. It was a busy day like usual and a good day for that matter. They gave me two counselors and a secretary in our little e elders quorum. I do appreciate the simple things in life that I have taken for granted and I want to be able to look fate in the face and fight for what the Lord wants me to fight for. I have failed to realize the potential that you kids have. The posterity is where life is really at. Leave a legacy for your kids in the fact that you don’t tell them you do it. All doctrine and all faith leads to the Temple. Without that in our life we have nothing. I miss the temple and going to San Salvador Temple was an awesome experience because we got to go inside and do the work for those that have died. What other blessing can you ever think about than to help someone in need who cannot help themselves? Let me ask each of you question are we all doing what the Savior wants us to do? Ya know I am included in that question. mY answer is not really. I just live my life thinking about what I want to do and make excuses like I am doing what he wants. . I have learn that it takes more effort than you can possibly think of to become like the Savior. Full of love, full forgiveness and just a great person to be around.. oh mom is screaming, she says there is a crab in our house. Oh wow she is right that little guy which is four inches long came from the beach which is really far and how did he get into our house. We have turned into bugs killers. Worst here than Hawaii. I didn’t kill the crab, I threw him over the fench. We live on the edge of the jungle. Everything that moves in the jungle comes to try to stay in our home. We took the no vacancy sign down. We are still feeling over whelmed with all that needs to be done here. Every time we turn around there is something else that need to be done. Take care love all of you. Dad
