• I am little tired lately. We have been running all day and night. The longer we are on our mission the harder we feel we are working. Sometimes there is no free time. We did make so free time yesterday on our p day. We went to Puerto Cortez. It’s a port city right on the ocean. The water was really warm. WE didn’t swim but touch the water. We ate right on the beach and had shrimp, rice, beans, fries and a salad. For 220 limps which is 11 bucks. The drinks were 20 limps which was 1 buck. Kind of inexpensive. It is a lot cheaper where we live. So this is up scale from where we live. It was a relaxing time to sit on the beach and hear the ocean roar. Ever tried to sweep out a care without a vacuum? Not an easy chore. I put my shoes on top of the car and someone came by and asks me for my shoes. I first thought what does he want with an old pair of shoes. I told him no and then I leaned over to continue sweeping out the car when I thought about a typical saying. I would give the shirt off my back if someone really needed it But not the shoes I was wearing. Kind of a hypocrite. So I stood up grab the shoes and as I turned to run down the street to locate the man who ask me for my shoes. He had turned around and was heading my way. I said you still want m y shoes. He said yes. Here you go. The look on his face was happy ness like I just gave him a million bucks. I will be forever grateful for this experience because it truly taught me a simple principle. The Savoir gave all that he had and did it with a kind heart. I gave but I don’t know if I had the right attitude about it. I am trying to have a better attitude about serving and giving. Today I got a letter asking me to give a talk in church next Sunday. About what are the blessings you get from being reverent? What a topic. I think it loud in church, we sit close to the front so we can hear better. When you trying lessen to a foreign tongue it is easier if you can see the tongue moving while it is speaking. Hermana Roper saying we have a very quiet ward compared to others. • I want to be able to understand everything and it is not working out that way. You understand enough to get by or ask more questions to find out what they are talking about. Some give up and just stop talking to us. Went to church at 8am, had a meeting that never really happens because the leader is always in another meeting. Church. Went and pick some up for church. Marie, she is 83 and join the church a month ago. She reminds me of the gal Rust talks about on his mission. Took her home early because he hip was bothering her. Church over at 12, home teaching at 1pm, meeting at 3pm and then another meeting at 4pm, home at 7.30pm, made Spam and rice and now after this email I am going to bed. I am beat. I am grateful for your support and love each one of you with all my heart. It seems the family is still growing when we are away. I am thankful for the health of each one of you and know the Lord will bless you as you grow and honestly work out your exaltation. The Gospel is true and the Savoir lives. Lv Dad
