4/22/2012 I had a dream last week that I left my clothes in this locker but I didn’t have a key to get in. I could go to the locker but could not get into it. I thought hard how I could put my clothes in the locker but I could not remember how I did it and what I did with the key. I thought about what we are trying to do here and I realize that we will not be able to do the things we wanted. I remember going to Disney world in Florida and my suit cases never showed up until we came home. I dealt with it and it all turned out. What I learned is that everything around you can be crashing down but no one knew it. Attitude makes the difference in your own life. If your attitude is good then the world around is good. We had a branch activity of games, Olympic games and eat food. (Baleadas,) A lot of work because the members don’t know how to help. I had the young men’s fill water balloons, set up chairs and tables. We had a lot of less active and investigators come. On Sunday we had a branch counsel that only talked about one thing. That is to come up with less active and investigators to work with and visit them in their homes. They ask mom to have 40 kids attend primary as a goal. Well there were more than 40 kids that came to this activity but no one thought to visit with them. The only ones that truly get it is the missionaries. They were like hungry and they told me that ya know how many investigators there were. Monton. I got to go and make some appointments. The active members sat on the butts and talked with other active members. Some stayed inside the church the whole time. Me and your mom were so busy with the games the food that we didn’t have time to visit. I literally after taking some people home, went right to bed because I was so tired and I needed to get up early and prepare to teach a lesson because the member didn’t have enough time to prepare. We are deflated and need to get some air so we decided to take a break on the activities. Work on finding less active members to reactivate. I really would like to know what the Lord wants from us. We will continue to do our part and we pray every day for two things. You, our kids to able to be happy in their individual lives and two to the less active members to come back to church. As I look back on when we first got here. It was a mess and now we just want them to be so much better so that when we leave they will know how to continue. The Lord’s way and not our way. I pray the lord will teach us the way to go. I do love the Lord and want to do his will. I ask that each one of you will have the same conviction in your lives. The Gospel is true and I know that life continues when we die. I will see my father again and I pray he will be happy with many of my decision I have made in this life.
