9/16/2011 Confront your fear. Everyone has fear in their lives. Sometimes it can be the simplest thing of not going outside for fear they might have to talk to someone. Oh no…… I have to speak. Well my fear was to facing my boss once again. I could go into so many reasons why I feel the way I do about him. Usually shows up un announced and demands my time and attention. Speaks very fast and uses words I have not learned yet. I went to drop off my flat tire. Oh yea yesterday was interesting. It was independence day for Honduras. Our stake had a party. Dancing, food and entertainment. We closed the center early, picked up several people and enjoyed the fiesta. WE had tajadas and meat. Its banana chips and taco meat. One of the things we like here food wise. Not many. Our friend Hermana Ada was filming a commercial up stairs. We still had our English class and had to retrieve all the tables and chairs outside for the fiesta. We sang the Yellow submarine in English class and our dialog was on holidays. Because it ran late we had 8 people to take home in our little Toyota corona. Reminded me of Josh’s car full of juveniles. Took mom home first, then on the way to Hermana Ada’s we hit this hole in the road. Sounded prettie bad but the car still ran. So when we pull up to the gate to get into Ada’s tract of homes. The Guard came out and Hermana Ada told him she lived there, he ask me to roll down my back windows, open the trunk and then they asked to hold identification while we were inside. Private identification details are not included in the public edition. As we drove in I notice a heavy feeling and I knew the care had a flat tire. WE made it to Hermana Ada’s and Freddy and Orlando changed the tire. When all this was happening I had two phone calls one from my Boss and the other from someone that wanted to tell me that the little paper I gave them did have the hours and days the center was open. As we drove to Choloma there were hundreds of people in the road looking down the canyon and there was police tape that meant something was really wrong but I just drove through it. Finally made it home. Well my boss came into the center and was there all day but decided to talk with me when we are ready to leave. He ask me if we can hang out tonight but I told him I had a lot of other things to do. What about tomorrow morning, I said we were leaving for the falls. So we talk for about an hour and I understood what he was saying but it seems nothing has changed. I ask him to email me when he wanted to talk with me because I understand Spanish better reading it that lessening to it. He said he would and it was done. I faced my fear and I wonder why I had the fear in the first place. I love you guys so much and one day I will be able to hug you all. L lv alwys Dad Sometimes when you watch a movie and you sit and read the words after. There is a actually more to the movie. Well there is more to my little talk or email. Yesterday I read in the newspaper about a person that was being chased by someone with a gun. He ran across the road and into a downhill grassy slope. Apparently the person with the gun caught up with him and shot him. His friend went down the hill to see if he was alright and he was shot in the back. Well Remember I told you about going to Choloma and there hundreds of people along the side of the road looking down the canyon. Well this is what they were looking at. If I didn’t have the flat tire when I did then I might have been there when this all happened. I thought about other times when you have a bad day and things just happen. Maybe that flat tire was a blessing. I felt it was. Blessing and it comes when you are doing what you can to serve the Lord. I know that to be true and I guess this time the Lord let me know how I was blessed that day. I love you kids with all my heart and pray for your success in your life. Lv alwys Dad
