You know last night I stay up all night because I couldn't sleep. You know what else has happen I got kicked out of Smithy's room and put up stairs. ALONE no one to look at no one to see. You no why I'm wright such a long letter. I'm lonely I feel like I'm gone to cry because I'm home sick. I don't want to go through that horrible feeling.

Mom make sure you tell Uncle Phits that I would like very much to come home with them and would you wright Smithy that Steve for should come and have to come --

The reason I asked you to do this is Smithy asked me to stay and I want to come home he would feel that he didn't do anything to make me interest and he would feel like a failure this way I'll tell him do I have to come home and he says Yes your mom says so. So I say O" blank out" and he doesn't feel bad and I don't either. Thanks an awful lot.

I'm having fun here. It's just that I'm home sick. I might get out of it the easy way by forgetting what I remember. This probably doesn't sound any sinces to you but I guess I have to live with it.

How are you Nancy? You've probably --

[Page 6 - excerpt] This is the longest letter I have ever wright and probably the last longest letter I'll wright.

Tell Wayne & Sue that I got all the fight I can handle. Don't send me any. I might send you some. Trust me.

[Pages 7-8 - excerpts] I feel like going to sleep. By the time you get this letter I'll be washing a dish. That's about it.

1 day in this place feels like one week at home.

[Page 9 - excerpt] We fixed the water line leak where you were here and we also put a new sprinkler on the side of the big pipe.

Well it's Friday morning and I'm awake. Good-by.
