1976 Mission Period - I Never Knew How Much I Loved You

[Page 1] Aloha Mom & Dad ya know something I never knew how much I loved ya till I'm gone for awhile. This mission is the happiest times of my life. A couple of days ago I was sicker than a dog but now I feel like I can convert the world. I thank ya so much for giving me the opportunity to serve our Lord. Dad if ya get a chance read Amos 7:3 and tell me if the Lord is perfect. It's just a scripture that bothers me.
I'm reading the Book of Mormon and I know now that Joseph Smith did not write the book at all. He translated it thru the gift and power of God. I'm sending in for some books. It's about this lawyer and this guy trying to be a lawyer and for their final exam they have to prove a case. He pick the subject of proving that the Book of Mormon is true. The book I'm talking about is a transcript of the trial. It's called The Book of
[Page 2] Mormon on Trial I think. I'll send ya one too.
I got my package. Thanks alot. I loved those oatmeal cookies. They remind me of my cookie doe.
Sound like that christmas dinner was the pits. We had two luaus this Wednesday and then another Saturday. Hawaiian pig & poi and the whole bit.
Mom & Dad I'm going to start sending tapes cause I'm tired of writing and I'd like to give it a chance.
