[Page 1] Well Mom & Dad Business is slow as usual. Today I wish I was in California. Home-sick I guess for ya guys. I feel ya guys were the greatest parent[s] a son could ever had and I want to express that I love ya very much and if all goes well I'll be in California in a year going back to school. Hopefully entering Chiropractic school next January. I'm going to Pray about it soon to make sure it's alright with the Big Boss. What are ya guys up to? It's about one month before little Roper will be born and I'm scared to Death. Can't wait to show off the little bugger. [blacked-out word] Bought a washer for Cindy last week — she's over joyed about it. And I'm kind of a Grouch today — I practice basketball every Wednesday and sometimes I play racketball.
[Page 2] Dad do me a favor (I now make a commitment) — will ya to cut down eating salt. It will be hard but I can do it.) Loose some weight. Pray then do it. Dad I know ya could now. Mom please help Dad by going on a diet with him. I should mention Cindy sends her love for ya all. And I love ya so much. Take Care.
